What is smart lighting?

Smart lighting lets you control your lights by app, voice, schedule or sensor, dim the lounge, set a morning scene, or switch everything off from bed. In the UAE it’s a high-impact, low-cost upgrade that adds comfort, security and energy savings.

You can go two ways: replace your wall switches with smart switches (keeps your existing bulbs and works with the whole room), or swap in smart bulbs and RGB strips for colour and scenes. All our lighting is official Tuya and Smart Life, sized for UAE 220 to 240V wiring, and works with Google Home, Apple HomeKit, Alexa and Smart Life.

How does smart lighting save energy in the UAE?

Smart lighting cuts waste in three ways: schedules and occupancy sensors turn lights off in empty rooms, dimming reduces consumption, and energy-monitoring plugs show you which devices cost most. Combined with motion sensors, lights only run when a room is in use, meaningful on a DEWA or SEWA bill across a large villa.

• Schedules: exterior and garden lights follow sunset/sunrise automatically.
• Occupancy: corridors, bathrooms and store rooms switch off when empty.
• Scenes: one tap sets the right light for movies, dining or sleep.
• Away mode: randomised lighting makes an empty home look occupied.
